“Corasol” Master Plan

The “Corasol” Master Plan, located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, is a flagship development with the potential for more than 3,000 homes. ECOPLADESA integrated and managed various requests for modification of the environmental impact resolution so that the project could be adjusted to the parameters authorized in the most recent urban instruments.

“El Capomo” Comprehensive Planned Center

The Comprehensive Planned Center Nayarit was to be a tourist corridor developed along the southern coast of Nayarit, between Bahía de Banderas, Compostela, and San Blas. The second phase of CIP Nayarit would take place in the area known as “El Capomo“ covering an area of 255.25 ha. ECOPLADESA actively participated in the integration of the Environmental Impact Statement (MIA-R), and intervened for its subsequent approval.

Grand Velas

Grand Velas Riviera Maya is a major luxury hotel complex located in the Riviera Maya, on a site exceeding 80 hectares. The project includes three hotels and an original authorization for more than 900 rooms, distributed between the Maya jungle and the Caribbean Sea. ECOPLADESA was key in integrating and authorizing various requests for modifications of the environmental impact resolution to adjust the areas, densities, and distribution of the project. Additionally, it designed various environmental management programs, including the Coastal Dune Restoration and Reforestation Program.

Barceló Hotel Group

Barceló Hotel Group is one of the leading hotel chains in Mexico with over 8,900 rooms in the country. For more than 15 years, ECOPLADESA has worked closely with the group as an environmental advisor. Among other tasks, it has obtained various environmental impact authorizations and has integrated and managed multiple modification requests. Likewise, the consultancy has participated in monitoring compliance with conditions, as well as in the design and execution of nearly 20 hectares of gardens at the Barceló Riviera Maya hotel.

Singlar Nautical Scales Master Plan

ECOPLADESA served as the environmental advisor in an ambitious project to establish a network of nautical scales that ensured safe navigation for tourist vessels in the North Pacific and the Sea of Cortez. Specifically, it participated in the marine and terrestrial characterization, as well as in the integration and management of the Environmental Impact Statement (MIA-P) for the nautical scales in La Paz, Santa Rosalía, and Loreto.

Marina Cozumel Expansion

ECOPLADESA was involved in the integration and management of the Environmental Impact Statement for the expansion of Marina Cozumel. The project consisted of the marine area, including the dock basin, the access channel, the docks, and the support facilities for its operation, and the terrestrial area, made up of roadways, walkways, tourist and residential lots, commercial areas, and the conservation area.

Puerto Aventuras Plan 4

Puerto Aventuras is a stunning development south of Playa del Carmen. Unique in its kind, as it integrates tourist real estate development with a nautical project. ECOPLADESA was responsible for integrating and managing the Environmental Impact Statement (MIA-P) for the urbanization and subdivision of the property known as “Plan 4“ over an area of more than 46 hectares. The project included the construction of roadways and networks for potable water, electricity, drainage, and sewerage, as well as the delineation of lots for various uses and the construction of Marina II's Arm 2.

“Parque Cancún“

Located on what was the municipal landfill for over 30 years, “Parque Cancún” spans an area of 136 hectares and aims to promote coexistence, as well as respect and conservation of the environment. ECOPLADESA participated in the integration and management of the Environmental Impact Statement for this project, particularly relevant due to its proximity to the mangroves of Nichupté Lagoon.

Highways of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation

ECOPLADESA won the tender to participate in the integration and management of the Environmental Impact Statements for the modernization of two road segments in the states of Guerrero, Oaxaca, and Veracruz. The first involved widening the shoulders on both sides of a 38-kilometer section of the Chilpancingo – Tlacoachistlahua highway in Guerrero. The second consisted of surfacing both sides of a 55-kilometer section of the Mitla – Sayula highway in the states of Oaxaca and Veracruz.
